Every so often a luxe cake order comes along and we get oh so excited! This gem of a cake exudes elegance with it's ruffle covered bottom tier and crystal encrusted embellishments. The bride was one of my dearest friends and we were so honored to play a role in her special day at the Drydock in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Let's talk about what delicious flavors the bride and groom chose. The bottom tier was classic almond cake with fresh raspberry filling and vanilla bean buttercream. Our signature lemon cake with lemon buttercream was the cake of choice for the remaining tiers.
